Wanderlust is the new movie starring Jennifer Aniston, which will be released on February 24, 2012, in the US. Along with Aniston, it stars MAlin Akerman, Paul Rudd, Justin Theroux, and Alan Alda. A Manhattan couple (Jennifer and Paul Rudd – whom she worked with on a couple of episodes of Friends) are suddenly unemployed. They decide to move to a rural commune, “where free love rules.” Most of Jennifer’s movies have been of the romantic comedy variety – like The Switch (2010), Just Go With It (2011) and so on. Horrible Bosses (also 2011) was a change of pace, kind of like an adaption of Alfred Hitchock’s Strangers on a Train. I have to admit I preferred Aniston in The Bounty Hunter (2010). Yes, it was a romantic comedy, but with adventurous overtones which is what I prefer in a movie! The four movies Aniston has in the hopper (Pumas, The Goree Girls, Counter Clockwise and Holler) will certainly be popular ones…but to my regret there’s not an adventure film among them.
